Pereira D'Oliveira, Moscatel, Madeira 1875
U. into-neck, good appearance, in original carton, bottled in 2016

Tasting Note: Deep mahogany colour. Exuberant nose with old oak to the fore with Christmas cake spices, cinnamon and star anise and an overt nutty smoky character. Full bodied and the sweetness is well balanced by the vibrant acidity. Concentrated flavours of fruit cake, caramel and Seville orange with hints of marmalade. A very long finish and a harmonious Madeira. Tasted 16 April 2025. Tim Triptree MW
