The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The work has not been examined outside its frame. A faint layer of surface dust is present. Faint wear is to the edges and corner-tips. Several pinpoint accretions are to the figure's proper left eye. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
