The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The collage elements are hinged intermittently to the backing board and undulate slightly. Soft creases are faintly visible infrequently, predominantly to the edges. Tape residue and remains are occasional to the edges and the lower edge of the left collage element is deckled. Small paper losses are occasionally to the edges, presumably a vestige of the artist's working method. A few hairline abrasions are along the edges. Under ultraviolet light two tiny repaired tears are to the lower edge of the middle purple element and the lower edge of the far right collage element. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
