The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

This work has not been examined out of its frame. The sheet undulates slightly, and artist's pinholes are visible in places at the edges. There is a one-inch tear at the left upper edge, as well as a few tears extending inward from the right edge, all presumably in keeping with the artist's working method. Scattered areas of lifting and loss are visible throughout. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
