The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Badende (top image):
The sheet undulates at the right edge and is hinged to the backing board at the upper corners. Artist's pinholes are visible at the corners. There are two soft creases in the lower right corner. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.

Badende (middle image):
The sheet is hinged to the backing board at the upper corners. Artist's pinholes are visible at the corners. There is a resinous accretion in the lower left corner, and a faint crease above the same corner. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.

Badende (lower image):
The sheet undulates very slightly at the edges. Artist's pinholes are visible at the corners. There is minor wear at the corner tips, and possible soiling at the lower left corner. A small crease is visible at the lower edge near center. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
