A varnish layer is present, possibly from the artist. Minor wear is to the corner tips and turning edges. A pinpoint brown accretion is near the upper left corner. Faint linear surface scuffs are visible within the varnish layer. Under ultraviolet light, there is a passage of inpainting along the right edge and a few small areas of inpainting are scattered at the corners.
