The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged at the upper corners to the backing board and undulates slightly. A small horizontal crease is to the upper right corner and one is to the left upper edge. Several small passages of craquelure with associated losses are to heavier applications of paint. A small loss of paint is to the lower left edge, one is below and left of center, a few are below center and a few are above and right of center. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
