The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work is structurally sound and all elements are present. There are handling marks and micro-abrasions to some of the metal medical elements, as well as a few hairline abrasions and tiny accretions to the metal medical boxes. Scattered scuffs and a few small losses are visible to the exterior of the painted wooden box, as well as a dent to the lower right edge. The sliding glass pane is partially loose from the wood at the upper edge, with a crack visible at the painted seam. Both the wood and glass are partially broken at the upper right corner, though this is not visible when the work is installed. Under raking light, a few handling marks and small abrasions are visible on the surface of the glass. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light to the painted wooden box.
