The sheet is hinged along the upper edge to the backing board and undulates very slightly. The edges of the sheet are deckled. Artist's pinholes are visible intermittently along the edges of the composition. Faint wear is in places to the edges and a faint handling mark is to the right vertical edge. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
