The work has not been examined outside its artist's frame. Faint wear is occasionally to the frame. A faint layer of surface dust and a few scattered fibrous accretions are present. A hairline scuff is near the center left edge. A minute loss is to the upper left edge and a small passage of drip accretions are below center near the left edge, both presumably in keeping with the artist's working method. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
