The frame is affixed with nails to the stretcher. Minor wear and handling marks are visible to the edges and corners, more notably along the left edge. Hairline cracking is visible intermittently, predominantly in the upper register, in the white passage, and lower right corner where there is a spot of associated loss. Lifting is to the upper right quadrant, in a purple passage. Two pinpoint accretions are to the upper left quadrant, in a white passage near the upper edge. There are abraded losses in places, more notably to the lower left quadrant, in a blue passage. A few drip accretions to the lower left quadrant fluoresce under ultraviolet light. A few spots of inpainting are visible occasionally near the edges and corners.
