The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The Masonite is mounted to the backing board at the four corners. Minor wear is to the edges of the Masonite, the cardboard and paper collage elements, presumably in keeping with the artist's working method and choice of medium. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
