The sheet is free-floating in its frame and undulates slightly. The horizontal edges are deckled. Artist's pinholes are to the corners and near the center upper edge. The sheet has shifted slightly in tone, most notably along the edges. Faint wear and pinpoint spots of discoloration are to the edges and margins. A few hairline drying cracks are to the upper right quadrant in a red passage, visible under close inspection. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
