The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

This work has not been examined outside of its frame. The sheet is hinged to the backing board at the upper corners and lower edges. Artist pinholes are to the four corners and center edges. A few faint scuffs are scattered at the edges of the black, presumably in keeping with the artist's working method. A faint crease, likely inherent to the sheet, is visible in the upper right quadrant. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
