The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The sheet is hinged at the corners to the backing board and the edges are deckled. The sheet has shifted slightly in tone, most notably along the edges. A linear passage of discoloration is near the right edge below center. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
