The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is free-floating and undulates, most notably to the lower register. Artist's pinholes are to the corners. Faint wear and discoloration are intermittently, most notably along the edges. A linear passage of disturbed fibers is near the center upper edge, and another minute passage is near the center lower edge. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
