The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged at the upper corners and along the side edges to the backing board and undulates. The edges of the sheet are deckled and faint wear is to the corner tips. Scattered soft creases are occasionally to the sheet. A minute passage of disturbed fibers is near the left lower edge. Two pinpoint spots of foxing are to the lower register left of center, and another is to the upper register left of center.
