The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The work is structurally sound. There is some minor rubbing with associated pinpoint paint losses to the upper and lower right corners. There are faint hairline abrasions to the extreme upper and lower horizontal edge, presumably due to the artist’s working method, the largest of which measuring approximately 1.5cm. in length, as visible in the online illustration. There is a superficial layer of dust throughout. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
