The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light. There are slight scratches intermittently throughout the surface of the work, consistent with the artist's working method. The canvas is stapled to the face of the stretcher. There is minor wear to the extreme turning edges with some associated paint loss, notably at the lower right corner.
