The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work is structurally sound and all elements appear to be present. There are a few pinpoints of lacquer coating loss in places, the largest measuring approximately 0.5cm. in length, to the upper reverse of the left bar, not visible when installed. When examined under ultra-violet light, there is no indication of inpainting. Subject to the above, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
