The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The side edges of the canvas are covered with fabric tape. The sheet has shifted in tone. Undulation is to the lower left quadrant. Faint residue and associated discoloration are to the edges in places, possibly from previous framing. Fine cracking is visible under close inspection to the green and yellow passage below center. A small loss is below the purple passage near the right edge. A paper accretion is to the red passage right of center. A tear is towards the right edge near the red passage, and another possibly repaired tear with an increased sheen is to the green passage below center. Under ultraviolet light, the area of increased sheen fluoresces distinctly.
