The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged at the upper corners to the backing board and undulates slightly. The saturation of the background colors has possibly diminished with time. Artist's pinholes are to the corners. Very faint skinning is to the upper right corner, and a minute crease is to the lower left corner tip. Under close inspection, a few hairline scratches and minute spots of loss are intermittently to heavier passages of impasto.
