The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The sheet is hinged at the upper corners to the backing board and undulates slightly. The saturation of colors has diminished over time. A few surface scuffs with associated pinpoint losses are to thicker passages of crayon. The corners and extreme edges are faintly discolored in places, presumably vestiges of the artist's working method.
