The sheet is hinged at the upper corners and center upper edge to the backing board and undulates slightly. A minute partial tear is to the left upper edge. A few small, soft creases are to the lower right corner, and a few are to the upper right quadrant. Small spots of disturbed fibers are visible occasionally, presumably related to the artist's working process. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
