The sheet is hinged at the upper corners and side edges to the backing board. Artist's pinholes are to the corners and a minute tear with associated lifting is to the lower right corner. Soft creases and tiny losses are intermittently, consistent with age. Under close inspection, lifting is visible to the white passage below center. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
