The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged along the edges to the backing board and undulates slightly. Faint wear and soft creasing is to the edges and corner tips, and a more prominent soft crease is to the lower left corner. A minute partial tear is to the upper right corner tip and another is along the right upper edge . A few faint abrasions and surface scuffs are occasionally. Drying cracks and drying bubbles, some with associated pinpoint losses, are intermittently. A few pinpoint spots of discoloration fluoresce distinctly under ultraviolet light but do not appear to be inpainting. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
