The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

A very faint canvas draw is to the lower right corner. Rubbing with associated discoloration is visible intermittently along the extreme edges and corners. Several pinpoint punctures are near the right vertical edge in a white passage. Passages of very faint drying cracks are visible occasionally to the black passages. A few faint drips, presumably studio-related, are visible intermittently. A small very faint abraded area is below the figure's chin in the white passage. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
