Condition report
A Christie's specialist may contact you to discuss this lot or to notify you if the condition changes prior to the sale.
The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The work is hinged at the corners to the backing board. Creases and handling marks are visible intermittently, most notably to the upper left quadrant, upper right corner and lower left quadrant near center, all presumably in keeping with the artist's working method. Small passages of soiling are to the lower right quadrant, and right of center, where the two joined sheets meet, presumably a vestige of the artist's working method.
