The canvas, stretcher and attachments appear to be in generally good condition. All collage elements appear to be present and adhere well to their underlying support. There is minor wear and rubbing to the extreme left vertical edge. There are minute accretions in places. There is wear to the sack, in keeping with the nature of the found object. When examined under ultra-violet light, there is no indication of inpainting. Subject to the above, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
