The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged periodically along the upper edge to the backing board and undulates slightly. The sheet is double-sided, irregular in shape and artist's pinholes are to the corners. A few faint spots of displaced media and handling marks are occasionally and a minor partial tear is to the center lower edge, all in keeping with the artist's working method. Very minor wear is occasionally along the edges and soft creasing is to the upper corners and occasionally to the sheet. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
