The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The work is structurally sound. Hairline scratches are visible in places. Wear is to the turning edges and minute rubbing is infrequently to the gold passages. Dust and faint spots of surface soiling are in places, most notably to the interior channels. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
