The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The sheet is hinged at the corners to the backing board. The left and lower edges of the sheet are deckled. Under close inspection, an accretion with associated discoloration is visible to the upper edge in a blue passage. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
