The canvas, stretcher and attachments appear to be in generally good condition. The stretcher bar has left a faint impression to the lower and upper horizontal edges. There are a few paint losses to the centre right, presumably in keeping with the artist's working method. When examined under ultraviolet light there is no indication of inpainting. It is our view that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
