The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

A faint layer of dust is overall, most notably to the red passage in the upper right register. Rubbing is to the corner tips. Pinpoint accretions and spots of rubbing are visible infrequently. A faint abrasion is to the right edge of the pink passage and a few are to the red passage. A few discolored drips are to the upper right gray passage and a faint drip mark is right of center. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light. Please contact the department to review our preferred conservator's treatment proposal for this work's hanging structure.
