The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The sheets are hinged at the upper corners to the backing board and undulate slightly. The side edges of the sheets are deckled. Very faint creases are occasionally to the corner tips. A few spots of discoloration are infrequently to some of the sheets, primarily near the margins. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
