Condition report
A Christie's specialist may contact you to discuss this lot or to notify you if the condition changes prior to the sale.
The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The sheet is hinged in places on the reverse to its underlying support. The edges of the sheet are deckled and there are artist's pinholes to all four corners. The sheet undulates slightly throughout. There are some soft handling creases and rubbing in places predominantly to the edges, presumably due to artist's working method, as visible in the online illustration. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work is in very good condition.
Frame: 27 ½ x 21 ¼in. (70 x 54cm.)
