The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged at the upper right and left corners to the backing board. The sheet is slightly creased overall, most notably in the upper right. The sheet has slightly shifted in tone, most visible along the extreme edges. There are faint areas of discoloration visible near the center upper edge. There are oil rings surrounding areas of high impasto, due to the nature of the medium. There is a minor vertical tear visible at the lower left edge.
