The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged to the backing board at the upper corner-tips and periodically along the edges. The sheet has shifted slightly in tone and undulates slightly, most notably to the upper edge. Minor wear, faint creases and a few tiny nicks are to the edges and corners. A minute tear is to the right lower edge of the sheet. A few hairline linear abrasions are infrequent. A tiny loss is to the blue painted passage and right of center, and one with associated tiny fine cracks is to the left upper quadrant in a blue painted passage. A tideline is along the lower edge. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
