The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

This work has not been examined unframed and tape is to the overlap of the canvas. A thin layer of glue residue, likely from a previous mounting, is visible to the reverse of the canvas. Minor wear is to the corner-tips and faint hairline tension cracking is occasionally to the turning edges. A few tiny losses are to the upper turning edge. Visible under close inspection, faint hairline cracks are infrequent, most notably near the upper edge. A pinpoint drip accretion is near the lower edge in an olive painted passage. Visible under close inspection and ultraviolet light, areas of inpainting are scattered and along the edges.
