The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Minor wear, abrasions, losses and surface scratches are occasionally to the frame. Visible under close inspection, a few abrasions and surface scratches are infrequently to the chalkboard. A few faint drip accretions are occasional to the chalkboard, most notably to the upper right quadrant. The scattered spots of stray media are in keeping with the artist's working method and choice of the medium. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
