The work was not examined outside it's wooden strip frame that is attached with nails to the side edges of the canvas. A fine layer of surface dust is present. Minor wear and losses are to the edges and corners of the black support. A few faint hairline cracks are scattered. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
