The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged to the backing board at the upper edge and undulates slightly. The sheet has shifted slightly in tone. The left edge of the sheet is perforated. Minor wear, faint creases and a few tiny nicks are scattered to the edges and corners. A few tiny tears are to the right and upper edges and a small one is to the center lower edge corresponding to a linear crease that extends to the center of the composition. A tiny fibrous accretion is near the center upper edge of the sheet. Faint creases, with a more notable one to the center right edge, are occasional, presumably studio related. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
