The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

This work has not been examined unframed. The sheet is hinged to the backing board. The edges of the sheet are deckled, most notably to the horizontal edges, with associated minor wear and tiny nicks. Artist's pinholes are the corner-tips and lower vertical edges. Handling marks are occasionally near the edges, presumably studio related. A few pinpoint accretions are infrequent. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
