The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged to the backing board at the corner-tips and undulates slightly to the upper edge. The sheet has shifted very slightly in tone. The edges of the sheet are slightly deckled. Artist's pinholes are to the corner-tips. A very faint handling mark is to the center left edge just above the knife and another is just below the center right edge. Visible under close inspection and ultraviolet light, a pinpoint accretion is to the lower right edge. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
