The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged to the backing board at the corner-tips. Artist's pinholes are to the corner-tips and a faint crease is to the lower right corner-tip. Very minor wear is to the corners. Minute drip accretions are infrequently near the upper left corner and lower register. A minut spot of upper rubbing is to the figure's bust, presumably studio-related. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
