The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Not examined out of frame. The sheet appears to be hinged in places on the reverse to its underlying support and it undulates slightly. There are a few faint spots of discolouration in places, predominantly to the extreme edges, and very light foxing in places. There is a soft crease to the lower right. Some hairline drying cracks to the lilac figure and a few paint losses to the thicker passages. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
