The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The canvas, stretcher and attachments appear to be in generally good condition. There are a few losses in places to the edges of the artist's frame. There are a few fibrous accretions in places to the edges. There is a small tear to the lower centre. When examined under ultraviolet light there appears to be no evidence of any retouching. Subject to the foregoing, the work appears to be in very good condition.
