The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work is structurally sound. All collage elements appear to be present and adhere well to their underlying support. There is some minor rubbing to the extreme upper left corner. There are a few hairline abrasions with a few associated pinpoint losses in places to the gold leaf to the overlapping edges. When examined under ultraviolet light there appears to be no evidence of any retouching. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
