The work is structurally sound. There are a few surface inconsistencies in places, presumably in keeping with the artist's working method. There is some minor rubbing to the edges, most notably to the lower horizontal edge. There are a few minor losses in places to the extreme edges, most notably to the passages surrounding the exposed artist's nails. When examined under ultraviolet light there appears to be no evidence of any retouching. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
