Condition report
A Christie's specialist may contact you to discuss this lot or to notify you if the condition changes prior to the sale.
The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The work is structurally sound. The artist’s frame is loose to the extreme corners. The sheet undulates. There is lifting in places to the extreme edges. There is a fine layer of surface dust. There are a few creases in places to the edges, most notably to the lower horizontal edge. There is a footprint to the lower left quadrant, presumably in keeping with the artist’s working method. There are two-minute tears to the extreme lower right horizontal edge. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
